Olivenholz<\/p><\/div>\n

Olivenholz ist das Holz des Olivenbaumes<\/strong>. Dieser wird ca. 10-20 cm hoch und kann bis zu 1000 Jahre alt werden. Der Olivenbaum ist immer gr\u00fcn und verliert nie sein Laub. Das Olivenholz stammt wie der Baum selbst prim\u00e4r aus dem Mittelmeerraum<\/strong>. Allerdings gibt es auch Olivenbaum-Arten, die in Afrika, Australien, Indien, Amerika oder Japan beheimatet sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Olivenholz wird zu M\u00f6beln, Musikinstrumenten oder K\u00fcchenger\u00e4ten verarbeitet. Neben dem Holz<\/a>, liefert ein Olivenbaum ebenso Oliven\u00f6l und Speiseoliven.<\/p>\n

Aussehen von Olivenholz<\/h2>\n

Olivenholz besitzt eine wundersch\u00f6ne Maserung<\/strong> und eine r\u00f6tlich- braune Farbe<\/strong>. Der Kern ist meist dunkler gemasert, als der Splint vom Olivenholz. Aufgrund der Attraktivit\u00e4t des Holzes, wird es besonders gern in der M\u00f6belbranche verarbeitet. Bevorzugt allerdings zu K\u00fcchenutensilien, wie einer Olivenholz Schale, Kochl\u00f6ffel oder dem Olivenholz Schneidebrett. Das Holz sieht n\u00e4mlich nicht nur besonders sch\u00f6n aus, sondern f\u00fchlt sich auch glatt<\/strong> und hochwertig an.<\/p>\n

Olivenholz: Pflege<\/h2>\n

Olivenholzprodukte<\/strong> d\u00fcrfen nicht eingeweicht werden und sollen daher nicht zu lang in Wasser liegen. Daher geh\u00f6ren Olivenholz K\u00fcchenutensilien<\/strong> auch nicht in die Sp\u00fclmaschine! Au\u00dferdem kann das Holz durch Temperaturschwankungen und N\u00e4sse, Risse bekommen, stumpf oder gr\u00e4ulich werden. Daher empfehlen wir Olivenholz immer von Hand zu reinigen. Hierbei darf das Olivenholz mit etwas Wasser abgewischt werden. Wichtig ist dabei, dass das Holzprodukt nachher gut abgetrocknet<\/strong> wird, um zu vermeiden, dass es die Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6chten Sie Ihr Olivenholz \u00f6len, hilft eine regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Pflege mit nat\u00fcrlichen \u00d6len\u00a0<\/strong>(wie Pflanzen\u00f6l), dem Olivenholz seine einzigartige Farbe dauerhaft beizubehalten. Auch dabei sollte das \u00d6l sparsam genutzt und das Holz nicht in \u00d6l getr\u00e4nkt werden.<\/p>\n

Olivenholz: Eigenschaften und Verwendung<\/h2>\n

Das dichte und sehr harte Olivenholz gilt als sehr langlebig<\/strong> und hochwertig<\/strong>. Es ist resistent gegen Pilze und Insekten und gilt als sehr stabil. Ein weiterer Vorteil Olivenholz zu nutzen, ist dass es sich um einen nat\u00fcrlichen und nachwachsenden Rohstoff handelt.<\/p>\n

Zwar beh\u00e4lt Olivenholz auch im Wasser seine Form bei, es spaltet sich jedoch und reisst leicht ein. Daher gilt es das Holz nicht im Au\u00dfenbereich zu verwenden. Traditionellerweise findet Olivenholz Anwendung bei der Herstellung von Alltagsgegenst\u00e4nden<\/strong> aus der K\u00fcche, wie bei einem Olivenholzbrett<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>einer Olivenholz-Schale oder einem Kochl\u00f6ffel. Aber auch im Wohnzimmer<\/a> l\u00e4sst es sich in Form von Furnieren oder Olivenholz-Parkett finden.
