Komfortschaummatratze<\/p><\/div>\n

Komfortschaum<\/strong> ist ein Material f\u00fcr Matratzenkerne. Eine Matratze aus Komfortschaum oder PUR-Schaum<\/strong> ist eine Matratze aus Polyurethan (abgek\u00fcrzt PU, das DIN-Kurzzeichen ist PUR, daher auch oft f\u00e4lschlich Purschaummatratze genannt), einem sehr vielseitigen Schaumstoff, der f\u00fcr die verschiedensten Produkte verwendet wird.<\/p>\n

Je nach Herstellungsart kann aufgesch\u00e4umtes Polyurethan (Komfortschaum) weich und elastisch (Weichschaum, z. B. f\u00fcr Polsterungen, Autositze, Matratzen) oder hart und spr\u00f6de (Montageschaum, z.B. f\u00fcr Skier, Amaturenbretter, Fu\u00dfb\u00f6den) sein. Zur Herstellung einer Matratze aus Komfortschaum wird das Polyurethan<\/strong> aufgesch\u00e4umt, entweder unter Zuhilfenahme von Treibmitteln (fr\u00fcher FCKW, heute \u00fcberwiegend Kohlendioxid, CO\u00b2) oder einfach durch das Auftreffen auf Wasser. Anschlie\u00dfend wird er durch Hitze ausgeh\u00e4rtet.<\/p>\n

Vorteile von Komfortschaum<\/h2>\n

Matratzen, die aus Komfortschaum<\/strong> hergestellt wurden, haben einige Vorteile. – Ein Vorteil ist die hohe R\u00fcckstellkraft<\/strong><\/a>. Das bedeutet, dass die Matratze, nachdem sie sich in eine andere Form gedr\u00fcckt wurde, sich wieder in ihre urspr\u00fcngliche Form zur\u00fcck formt. Besitzt eine Matratze keine gute R\u00fcckstellkraft, so k\u00f6nnen Kuhlen<\/strong> entstehen, die auf l\u00e4ngere Zeit zu R\u00fcckenschmerzen f\u00fchren. Ein anderer Vorteil des Komfortschaums ist die Atmungsaktivit\u00e4t<\/a>. Selbst bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit werden der Komfortschaum und seine Wirkung nicht beeintr\u00e4chtigt.<\/p>\n

Der Unterschied zwischen einer Kaltschaummatratze und einer Matratze aus Komfortschaum<\/h2>\n

Der Stoff, aus dem Komfortschaum besteht – Polyurethan – beinhaltet weitere Stoffe. Er enth\u00e4lt Isocyanaten und mehrfunktionalen Alkoholen (Polyolen). Die Polyole sind im Falle von Komfortschaum<\/strong> nicht reaktiv, weshalb der Schaum nur bei Hitze aush\u00e4rten kann. Bei Kaltschaummatratzen<\/strong> hingegen sind die Polyole reaktiv und der Schaum h\u00e4rtet einfach an der Luft ab.<\/p>\n

Des Weiteren hat eine Komfortschaummatratze dank dieses Herstellungsprozesses<\/strong> von vornherein eine offenporige Zellenstruktur. Diese muss bei einer Kaltschaummatratze erst ge\u00f6ffnet (gecrusht<\/em>) werden. Preislich<\/strong> liegen Matratzen aus Komfortschaum unter Kaltschaummatratzen, da letztere noch bessere Anpassung an die verschiedenen K\u00f6rperzonen bietet. So eignet sich eine Matratze aus Komfortschaum eher f\u00fcr leichtere<\/strong> Personen<\/strong>, die nicht unter R\u00fcckenschmerzen leiden.<\/p>\n
