Kattun<\/p><\/div>\n

Kattun ist ein Textil in Leinwandbindung<\/a>, welches aus einem glatten<\/strong> und sehr dichten Baumwollgewebe<\/strong> besteht.<\/p>\n

Es gibt verschiedene Arten des Kattuns. Zum einen gibt es den wei\u00dfen Kattun, welchen man zum Bedrucken f\u00fcr verschiedene Stoffe nimmt und zum anderen gibt es einfarbige, gestreifte und glatte Kattune. Sie tragen den Namen Sarsenets<\/strong> oder Futterleinwand. Ende des 17 Jahrhunderts spielten die bedruckten Kattune eine bedeutende Rolle f\u00fcr die Web- und Druckindustrie in den L\u00e4ndern England, Frankreich, Deutschland und in der Schweiz.<\/p>\n

Kattun wurde fr\u00fcher durch Handarbeit hergestellt, stammt urspr\u00fcnglich aus Indien und gelangt erst sp\u00e4ter nach Europa. Unter anderem gibt es 2 Sorten des Kattuns<\/strong>: den feineren, welchen man Zitz nennt und den gr\u00f6beren, welcher ausschlie\u00dflich als Innenfutter verwendet wird.<\/p>\n

Das Material hat \u00fcbrigens nichts mit der japanischen Band KAT-TUN zu tun. Der Name der Band setzt sich aus den Anfangsbuchstaben der Nachnamen der Member zusammen und hat nur zuf\u00e4llig den selben Wortlaut.<\/p>\n

Welche Eigenschaften hat Kattun?<\/h2>\n

Wie erw\u00e4hnt gibt es einmal den wei\u00dfen und den bunten Kattun, beide kann man in ganz verschiedenen Dingen wiederfinden.<\/p>\n

Der bunte Kattun<\/strong> besteht neben der Baumwolle<\/a> noch aus einem Mischgewebe, w\u00e4hrend der wei\u00dfe Kattun ausschlie\u00dflich aus feinster und relativ d\u00fcnner Baumwolle besteht. Der bunte Kattun ist ein sehr leichter und fusselarmer Stoff, welcher nur bedingt saugf\u00e4hig ist. Gleichzeitig weist er eine hohe Nutzungsdauer<\/strong> auf.<\/p>\n

Wo wird Kattun verwendet?<\/h2>\n

Kattun ist vielseitig einsetzbar f\u00fcr Hemden, Blusen, Sch\u00fcrzen oder Jeanshosen. Neben der Kleidung wird Kattun auch gerne f\u00fcr Dekorationen oder beliebig andern Dingen verwendet, wie Tischw\u00e4sche, Putzlappen, Kuscheltiere<\/strong> etc..<\/p>\n

Der Schirting, welcher aus dem wei\u00dfen Kattun gebildet wird, verwendet man als Futterstoff oder auch als St\u00e4rkung f\u00fcr Landkarte. Gleichzeitig wendet man den wei\u00dfen Kattun auch in der Feinmechanik an, w\u00e4hrend man den bunten Kattunstoff eher bei Montagearbeiten oder in der Metall- und Kunststofftechnik<\/strong> anwendet. Die gr\u00f6bere Sorte des Kattuns wird meistens als Innenfutter f\u00fcr verschiedenes verwendet. Nat\u00fcrlich ist der der leichte Baumwollstoff<\/strong> auch f\u00fcr die W\u00e4sche geeignet.
