Fair Rubber<\/p><\/div>\n

Fair Rubber e.V<\/strong>. (rubber: Gummi) ist ein Verein zur Verbesserung der Arbeits- und Lebensbedingungen der Prim\u00e4rerzeuger von Gummi bzw. Kautschuk<\/a> in Sri Lanka und Indien. Prim\u00e4rerzeuger meint hier die Gummizapfer, Plantagenarbeiter und Kleinbauern, die eine Fair Trade-Pr\u00e4mie erhalten und so das ganze Jahr \u00fcber ihre Familien ern\u00e4hren k\u00f6nnen. Der Verein besteht aus Mitgliedern ohne kommerzielle Ziele und solchen mit kommerziellen Zielen.<\/p>\n

Wof\u00fcr setzt Fair Rubber sich ein?<\/h2>\n

Fair Rubber legt Wert darauf, dass m\u00f6glichst keine Agrargifte<\/strong> w\u00e4hrend des Zapfens und der Herstellung von Gummiprodukten wie Kautschukmatratzen verwendet werden. Denn diese Gifte k\u00f6nnen als R\u00fcckst\u00e4nde in den Endprodukten auftreten und f\u00fcr den Verbraucher sch\u00e4dlich sein. Zudem sind sie besonders f\u00fcr die Gummizapfer gef\u00e4hrlich.<\/p>\n

Daher f\u00f6rdert Fair Rubber den naturnahen Abbau von Kautschuk, um fairen Gummi umweltschonend zu erzeugen. Die Kriterien f\u00fcr fairen Gummi sind eng an die Kriterien des FLO<\/strong> (FairTrade Labelling Organisation) f\u00fcr Tee angelehnt, da Tee- und Kautschukfarmer (in Indien und Sri Lanka) von denselben Gewerkschaften betreut werden. Das Fair Rubber-Logo bescheinigt den Verbrauchern eine faire Behandlung<\/strong> aller Beteiligten an der Herstellung des Gummiproduktes und einen besonders umweltbewussten Herstellungsprozess<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Fair Rubber Welche Produkte?<\/h2>\n

Das Fair Rubber Logo findet man ausschlie\u00dflich an Produkten, die aus Gummi bestehen oder worin Gummi enthalten ist. H\u00e4ufig findet man das Logo an Gummistiefeln, Flip Flops, Kopfkissen und Matratzen, die aus Naturlatex<\/a> bestehen, W\u00e4rmeflaschen, Kondome ,Fu\u00dfb\u00e4lle, die fair gehandelt wurden und mit FSC Latex \u00fcberzogen sind, sowie Gummiringe und Haushaltshandschuhe.<\/p>\n

Nat\u00fcrlicher Kautschuk \u2013 Eine kleine Warenkunde<\/h2>\n

Einen frisch gezapften Gummisaft nennt man auch Latexmilch<\/strong>, der wie normale Milch haltbar gemacht werden. Um die Latexmilch haltbar zu machen benutzt man Ammoniak<\/strong>, da dieser der Ausgangsstoff f\u00fcr alle Tauchprodukte wie Ballblasen, Luftballons etc. ist. F\u00fcr die festen Rohstoffe verwendet man S\u00e4ure<\/strong>, die mit der Latexmilch koaguliert. Anschlie\u00dfend presst man das Wasser aus und die rohe Masse wird an der Luft oder mit Zufuhr von Hitze getrocknet. Zus\u00e4tzlich kann man die Latexmilch auch mit Rauch<\/strong> haltbar machen.<\/p>\n

Auf unterschiedliche Weise k\u00f6nnen Sie Mitglied bei Fair Rubber werden:<\/p>\n

  • Mitglied mit kommerzielle Interessen: Zum Beispiel in einer Firma oder einem Betrieb m\u00f6chten Sie mit Produkten handeln, welche aus nat\u00fcrlichem Kautschuk unter Fair Trade-Bedingungen entsteht<\/li>\n
  • Mitglied ohne kommerzielle Interessen: Unterst\u00fctzt das Ziel als Einzelperson oder Institut<\/li>\n
